Clearly the deferment of the McIntosh MinRes JV had been flagged in recent announcements. The price had pretty much drifted down to a level assuming no JV in the short term anyway. The knee-jerk reaction in the share price not totally unexpected today, albeit only half a cent at the close.

I'd much rather have management make the hard decisions now and push timeframes out than pursue a poor strategy. By my calculations this company has a NTA of about 5 cents. HXG HAS NO DEBT. So for a couple of cents you can buy an "option" to any and all future upside.

I think the question shareholders have to ask themselves is this: Are you comfortable that management has made quite a significant change in the company's core objectives and goals over the last 18 months? For me the answer is yes. Haven't enjoyed the share price rerating mind you but I have taken advantage of that rerating to significantly top up my holding.

No guarantee this company will ultimately succeed of course but it sort of feels like this company is as well positioned now than at any other time in its history. Management seems to have a good understanding of the current landscape and I'm committed to buckle up and go for the long ride.

Meanwhile, let's give Mike the opportunity to expand on today's announcement at the investor conference call.

I was more interested in a HOLDER having a price target about half the current price and not selling before when was much higher...

Each to their own I guess and I am interested if lands mid 5's again as got a few and looking to top up..
