Share consol is not a definite. 88E said we may be voting on one at the AGM, usually in May. The SC won't happen in May. It will be later if at all.
Nothing is ever straightforward with this crowd as in the Announcement 20/12/23 Shareholder Update regarding an SC - "88 Energy's Board will consider in the New Year whether a share consolidation in 2024 is in the best interests of shareholders, and if 88 Energy decides to undertake a share consolidation, shareholders will be able to vote on this at the 2024 AGM" ?
Is 88E deciding on SC or are we voting to decide on SC ? Would most shareholders, even big ones, vote for an SC ? Not sure they would given the usual SP eroding after SC.
Don't think it's a fait accompli anytime soon.
