Where you from ?? My first trip to England was on an ocean liner (before the general move to affordable flights) it was half full of 10 quid poms going home - boy you never heard whingers like them.
Fact is that people do sometimes find themselves in an unexpected untenable situation - and its human nature to let off a bit of steam about that.
