TGA has nothing to do with it, the only reason EMD has moved and will continue to move is global changes and advances in this field. The data EMD have has no borders and unlike mining it can easily be sold, transferred etc to another jurisdiction around the world. We are talking IP and real world databases that are super valuable on a global
scale.
Australia is the tiniest of markets with only 25mil people - the future of EMD is global and is more dependent on what the rest of the world does vs on what the TGA does.
