Yes they are all linked mick. The prototype charger is actually manufactured by Efacec. Siemens sells rebranded Efacec chargers. ( are they using RFT power supplies ? )
The charging times stated are just market spin, Tritium is already there, and that is why RFT ( and obviously Tritium) maintain their R&D spending and are a member of CharIN as this sector is continually developing.
Re the prototype charger in the article.......
"The prototype of a charging station with a capacity of up to 450 kW was inaugurated in Jettingen-Scheppach, Bavaria. At this ultra-fast charging station, electrically powered research vehicles created as part of the project are able to demonstrate charging times of less than three minutes for the first 100 kilometres.........."
Re Tritium's Veefil Pk-475
""And its technology has continued to evolve, too: its High Power Chargers, offer EV drivers 150km of range in just 5 minutes – almost as fast as filling up a petrol tank.""
Have a good Christmas guys.
Cheers
