    The rule of thumb is anything over 20 g x metres (on average) means it’s likely to turn into a mine. For example, 1m at 20gpt = 20 gm. Or 20m at 1gpt = 20gm. If the average is less than 20 gram metres, it’s not economic. However, you would much rather have 1m at 20gpt however because there are way less tonnes of ore to mine and process.

    So the width doesn’t really matter, it’s the gram metres, and in fact narrower widths (with higher gram metres) are more favourable than higher widths with the same gram metres.

    The assays to date contain some huge gram metre numbers, albeit balanced out with some lower numbers. But it’s the average that counts.
