Nobody said anything about superseding mines, the point is that it will be a cheap, easy, way to extract elements for use, and there is an end user (meaning it has value). It will also be significantly safer and much less environmentally impactful than mining.
The beauty of FJH is the ability to process the millions of tonnes of e-waste and the potential to extract the good stuff from ore (see lithium announcements).
Recycling is a huge industry and its estimated that less than 20% of scrap is actually recycled and that which is has a high power consumption, a comparably low yield and high cost.
MTM (or Rumpelstiltskin as I like to call them) FJH addresses all three of these issues. Antimony is one part of a whole number of outputs from a pile of trash.
And it seems you are incorrect in saying it's not used in electronics
