The ann actually states that the XRF gun can't be used for the gold grades. This was news to me as I know gold traders use a type of XRF instrument to guage the purity of gold jewellery and bullion - perhaps the XRF is only good for gold in the % range rather than a ppm range? Now, if we can just get a few drill holes with % gold grades we'll all be happy ...
