Channel sampling might be quicker, easier and cheaper but it only provides a starting point with constituent and grade data on visual mineralisation within the adits helping to indicate viability of further sampling. Core samples taken by the hand portable drilling unit help to better understand grade, width, geometry and provide guidance on the targeting of longer holes to be completed by the drill rigs which is where money will be saved in the long run.
Agee with you regarding lack of info relating to the underground drilling commenced in the Joremeny Adit back in May. There was recent mention of pending assays from drilling and the replacement of a drilling contractor due to slow progression which may be a possible explanation.
