What the directors need to do is show the market they can successful secure an exit with TSO
Alot of the major CPO shareholders are also TSO shareholders. So with a TSO Takeover, money will then flow into CPO
CPO becomes properly institutional investable after the TSO exit because
Directors will have recent track record of development and exit success
The CPO assets are still in early stage exploration however, institutions will back directors and the board
Retail/generalist will have confidence of management replicating a successful exit of TSO with a future exit of CPO
All factors above will re-rate CPO IMO to around $80mil valuation

So there is the very frustrating scenario for CPO shareholders of waiting for the above to happen. Because if it doesn't happen CPO becomes another stranded explorer and can only raise $1.5mil a year to drill 5 holes and dilute shareholders to kingdom come.

The sooner they can secure an exit for TSO (and it needs to be a decent one) the sooner they can get CPO back on track because CPO is the real $1bil future valuation play.

So i hope they take things seriously with TSO and the exit needs to be as fast as possible. CPO currently is just a sad and sorry stock.

The Top 20 CPO holders that hold TSO. Some are very large holders and will make plenty of $ from a half decent TSO exit.

that would be the trigger to buy CPO shares immediately because then a rerate to $60-80mil will happen extremely fast.

The last major copper discovery in the past decade in Chile was from Marimaca. None since, so CPO has $100-200Mil MC potential.

But until they can sort out their structural issues with TSO. CPO is a stranded explorer.
