Queensland Premier Campbell has been in MtIsa this week and he is highly supportive of the proposal put forward by Mt Isa Mayor Tony McGrady , a former Labor Minister for Mines that the north west needs a boost with the establishment of a uranium industry and the effect it would have on employment prospects in the region.

You have the experience of having been on site at Wilgar and better understand its significance as a possible future source of uranium as well as the base metals and of course gold.

As James Crawford points out, there has been no deep drilling under Wilgar .

I can envisage a number of processing plants for Rocklands other than the one being set up now.

It will be interesting to see what minerals are found on the new block and whether they are economical to mine. I look forward to seeing the drilling results from there.
