Surely they have to be there, there is an ASX release that says:

Anax is continuing discussions with several commodity traders and funds interested in securing offtake and providing financing for the Project. Over the last few weeks, the Company has engaged with a number of new parties interested in securing Australian copper and Anax is very encouraged by the recent level of interest in the Project.

I did not see anything contradicting this since then.

I'm pretty bearish but not that bearish. I do agree with you that the recent announcements are starting to look desperate which does make me question why, when the macro is so strong and the project itself checks out on paper. If I am wrong please challenge me on this.
