They've probz got 1% Sb at John Bull also - only about 150km from Hillgrove to the NNE - same edge of the escarpment.
East Coast NSW, fairly populated, sour grapes from prior fish kill events etc in the Macleay River.
Not gonna pollute the LRV thread, but the Macleay River Basin has been choking on antimony and arsenic every major rain event since pre 1900 as a result of old shafts leaching in the Bakers Ck headwaters.
The guv recently spent $10 millys to restore Urunga wetlands after NEAM ditched their processing plant in the 70's when the antimony price collapsed again.
There are enviro groups - along with strong indigenous history - and agricultural interests in the Macleay Catchment same as the Clarence Catchment.
I haven't looked - but if Station Creek is low enviro impact and the grades are high it's a better bet in terms of getting enviro / heritage approval, particularly if the grades and economics are higher.
