I would not go so far to say that. The comparison of Mongoose Deeps with Ernest Henry is legitimate (whether it pans out that way can only be proven by the drill).
RNX is desperately short of cash with a SP in the toilet... I think that motivates a spurious announcement. Management would likely want to keep 100% ownership of the most promising tenement but there is a heap of potential if they land a large JV partner to fund the exploration of Mongoose Deeps.
I can see a number of ways things might improve... confirmation of granted exploration rights over the Cloncurry tenement followed up with a couple of successful holes and this stock can do very well...
