Morning Dean, surprising news flow continues to come, keep up the good work!

Two questions, who's face is on the white board in the last interview? And are the rock chip elements normally more concentrated on surface as to what is below, due to the weathering?

    Hi Mckhenry,

Cheers for that, we hope to have plenty of quality planned and a few surprise announcements in the pipeline!

The photo on the whiteboard is our very own Senior Fieldy Scotty Rudd with his blue steel gaze ever watching over the warehouse.

Rock chips are always to be treated with a few grains of salt. While we certainly try to take proper, not too selective, rock chips, all rock chips can be and should be regarded as selective. What they do tell us is a fair bit about the system and what we should be looking for and what tools we can use to explore for them.

In the case of these high-grade rock chips, and relative lack of iron, it might indicate that we have some strong tenors (less barren (iron) sulphide, and more base metal (Cu-Zn) sulphide). In regard to the weathering environment, supergene zones and gossans can be enriched in many metals, but there can also be leaching depending on the weathering and geomorphology history of the area.

The takeaway should be that the rock chips indicate that we have a fertile VMS system that might be producing high tenor Cu-Zn-Ag-Au sulphide bodies. Because it is a massive sulphide system, we can use EM techniques to assist in generating and defining targets for drilling. And we will want to be drilling these as a priority because VMS systems can produce very high-grade deposits and can occur in camps making them a compelling economic proposition.
