I don’t know if many have noticed but there could be a systematic approach to small caps under way without too many tweaking with most metals in the green , copper at $10400, gold cruising along nicely ,nickel starting to recover and lots of swings in the small cap stocks that are trending into a bull market phase with preparation in order for the interest rate cuts towards the end of the year if not beginning earlier. The cycle comes around usually about every 10- 12 years for small caps and right about now almost overdue and the Russell 2000 has been starting to outperform the other index’s more frequently. FRS went 400% at one stage today only to finish +140% on an option to acquire an iron ore prospect next to Min Reources ,looking deeper into the acquisition im kind of scratching my head a little as it seems and I may not be doing my sums correctly that FRS has only a $7m MC but I total are paying the selling company a total of 400m shares in FRS in step with milestones if they are achieved with at its current SP equates $20m but a hell of a lot more if it reaches those in place goals. With one director getting a position on the board and possibly 2 in time my question is are they really selling or actually more of a transfer from private to listed under a different entity. The option is 3 months but can be extended and very interested to see how this pans out SP wise over the coming week or so, as it sounds to me Netley still get to own 2/3 rd’s of the potential. DRE’s turn will come hopefully and itching to know what DT may come up with from left field as I’m sure he would like to burn whoever is stoking this fire under our SP.
