You do realise that Atlas didn't die, surely?
If my memory is right, it was trading at about 200 million when Forrest and Rinehart made their offers in 2018, down from a peak cap of 2 billion or something.
It recorded a net profit of 400 million last year, which means it would've moved back to its peak market cap had it still been publicly listed.
You've been here advising people to sell at the bottom of this cycle, while your example shows they should do the opposite.
