And Milan worked Nifty in Straits pre-Tritton etc. I think Marychodore was always known about.
Now your question re- oxide versus sulphide copper is an important one.
The normal way oxide copper is mined is by leaching usually heap leaching because to float things sulphur needs the collector usually a Xanthate to stick to bubbles. That said there are some limited collectors around that will float oxide Cu (maybe silicates as opposed to sulphides). If you get it wrong recoveries are poor.
It's not clear how they mean to treat the oxide copper at Marychoodore and maybe dependent on what else they drill up. Unsually heap leach works on open pit stuff at much lower grades too.
