re: Ann: High Grade Gold Confirmed at Charter... Visited charters towers last year. The wet season should not have a big influence on work up there. The area where the deposits are is quite undulating country, woodland with lots of rocks etc on surface. The major flooding threats are the burdekin river at least 5 km east of town and other creeks in lower lying areas well to the west of town. Charters towers does not get anywhere near the rain that the coast gets(est 1200mm a year)
So lets get on with the drilling.
The town was looking good but also that it wanted a project big time.
