There is some surface enrichment from weathering which leads to the very high grade material (malachite).


The chalco at 1.27% was chipped off rocks and may turn out to be more representative of the orebody 'proper' (these are not small rock chips lying at surface, they are the visible ore on vein systems above surface, they will not be floating on their lonesome IMO). The 0.19% is being spoken of because it proves mineralisation over a larger area IMO. Have a look at the magnetics for the region and you can see that there is likelihood of much more good news. This is going to grow. It is the edge of the Nth Australian Craton and the rocks have had multiple episodes of hydrothermal activity.

Don't confuse these samples with for example, a small chip found lying on the ground. That is not what they are. They are taken from large vein outcrop.

It's also very significant that while we had anomalous but low levels of gold previously, we now have great levels and this gold was not visible. We didn't know it was there prior to the assay.
