This is the nature of vein mineralisation, it’s nuggety in nature and grades can vary significantly. Note that there is malachite and chalcopyrite which implies that it’s the oxidation zone where sulphides are being exposed to the environment.
Vein swarms can be complex but represents the upper portions of a larger hydrothermal system at depth.
