This is where a carefully-crafted long-section (Connelly diagram) clearly illustrating the true widths and grades of +10 g/t Au becomes indispensable for communicating the mining setting for the inferred resources. Investors should expect nothing less from their company geologists.
The old-timers mined 3Mt over 30 years (~100ktpa @ 15 g/t) so they really took their time and left a lot of 3 g/t material behind in pillars/remnants.
There are definitely high-grade structures present at depth beneath the flooded old workings. Luckily the leases don't expire until 2067!!
