There was a time when froth flotation was a 'black art' (yep that's a pun guys, and I meant it)

But not so much today - and with gold antimony ores the stibnite encircles the gold ore particles and that is one of the main problems with separation.

I take confidence that in the timelines I posted recently Metallurgy was 80% complete.

There is plenty of reading on the internet about gold antimony ores and the various ways to treat the ore before flotation -
    try here for one https://www.xinhaimining.com/newo/four-common-antimony-gold-flotation-process.html

Obviously it will cost more, and the plant will be designed to cater for it (recent photo of the plant upgrade showed extra flotation circuits being included)

But the extra recovery of gold and antimony, and have they included W?, will be worth it.

    IMO - DYOR.
