Gold explorers are surging all over the ASX yet MAT seems to be unable to capitalize on the rise.
They have reasonable leases that have promise based on historical mining and of course they currently mine gold so do not need to come cap in hand to the market to raise funds and increase the shares on issue.
So it should all be bubbling along nicely awaiting monster drill results.
But it isn't. Instead of approaching 50c a share we are heading toward 10c.
Given all the above I conclude that the problem is one of management not being able to sell the MAT story to new investors.
Most holders that post here seem to think the Mr Poli is a solid and conservative manager.
Based on what I have written I think the company need to hire a slick marketer who knows how to sell the sizzle.
That or ask Mr Poli to move on and let someone else have a go.
I would vote for anything other than the status quo.
