There is so much misinformation here it's not funny.
Where did you get that figure from - plucked from thin air?

The Quarterly gave no break down of mining costs re Viper, Pit 5, Tailings

The full break down of costs associated with the tailings operation was released to the asx in Sept 2020. It showed a cost of about $1000/oz, so we are making very good money from tailings processing.

If you seriously think they are processing Tailings in order to lose money - you should sell your shares and run.

Both Alistair & Mike have Doctorates in Mining Geology, maybe you should contact them & tell them how their plan is losing money & should be abandoned. They might give you a job.
