No my point being drilling like the one today helps define a plan for further key targets.

your mentality is we should hold off drilling as it will be mined till Atleast 2026. I’m not sure when in that time then is an acceptable timeframe to do the drilling?

i personally believe they will commence underground mining before that date you have listed, but regardless.

They are trying to define the “potential stopes outside stage 2 pushback” as it is a potential gateway to Samacline.

Lastly: our release led holes today were drilled from around pit 5. It’s difficult to know the path of the hail trucks due to unknown direction of hail roads when put 5 was mined and if trucks ran from pit 5 south to the plant or ran north.

Whilst only underestimate room required for the driller slightly, you do under estimate the barricade area required should hail trucks be running through… which would prove logistically difficult if they are setting up on the pathway roughly identified below.

You have previously posted anger for funds being used for drilling you believe that will not be accessed later in the mines life. I believe It’s very clear that the use of funds annoys you as you believe you would not be invested that far down the road. It’s the only thing I can think of as to why you want the company to remain short sighted… exploration digging once resources are low is a fairly poor long term strategy… execution is critical. Lots of ways to “skin a cat” so to say… how’s about we have all the possible info before starting?

lastly, retrieved ore from the pit … as in tailings that were originally run through the plant and dumped back into the pit as infill, have been getting retrieved and run back through the plant. This is worthwhile as gold recoveries through tailings are low, so while grade may have been reduced and gold output in the ore lowered, logistically, running them through is worthwhile as it would significantly reduce/offset original costs to retrieve the dumped wastage.

feels like a song and dance for nothing mate, and just a further downward spiral of depression some posters are on
