I am guessing that with the stock being suspended for nearly 2 weeks there was no opportunity to jump on and ride the initial post-announcement price hike. For a share trader, having their money locked in for 2 weeks doing nothing would been unacceptable.
Long term holders would wait for the dust to settle.
Curious why they didn't wait until after the re-opening to release the drilling results announcement.
