Rye (like your whiskey!), IF Au breaks USD2000 I'd like to see it hold, drop-rise consolidate, then move up.

Outside three Au core positions (I view them as partly portfolio insurance, and more as ascending investments) I buy-sell-hold Au equities as determined by the DIRECTION of the PoG rather than any TARGET. (Although sometimes one unearths a little nugget that has a chance at a wholly owned regional play, eg. GBR. (I like to think a massive potential softens PoG gyrations.)

So, it's the attributes of the individual play that makes me stay. Then, outside a company event, it's PoG that triggers a move by me.
