ADN is your benchmark for DSO halloysite kaolin. Your results are early days and from shallow trenches, but look to be on track to be line ball with ADN. Look at the table below from an ADN ann on 18 Feb 2019.
RMX needs to find the halloysite component which is a major point of interest for these projects.The kaolin component (and the halloysite, if otherwise unused) can be used to make HPA. Removal of impurities in HCL digestion and precipitation stages is a major cost, so I am a bit anxious about the high iron and titanium.
Kaolin and halloysite are different minerals with the same chemical formula but different crystal structure - they both consist of plates of alumina and plates of silica separated and bonded together by OH radicals. In kaolin the structure is flat, in halloysite it is curved and rolled up into tiny tubes with layered walls. They are called halloysite nano tubes (HNT).
There is huge interest and research being done world wide in HNTs - including eg as storage for hydrogen as part of the stored clean energy push.
(also for drug delivery, dental implants - gum tissue grows into the tubes, cosmetics and perfumery, to deliver measured dose over time lol.)
Given the above, this ann does not excite - it is but a first step in the exploration of the deposit. If it proves up to be as good as ADN (or FYI, which I hold) then it could be very valuable down the track, but as ADN has found, DSO may not be as easy as it at first appeared. ALL IMO.
Again just IMO but I am watching RMX mainly for the HREOs.
