Nobody has corrected me on this, so I'm continuing to presume that for depth extension drilling the soil anomaly is basically irrelevant. If the soil anomaly comes from leaching lithium from host rock it will tell you something about what's occurring in the weathering profile area (20-30m). If it comes from weathering rock, unweathered (fresh) rock isn't going to leave a signature. Some investors may have made the mistake of thinking the narrowing of the soil anomaly to the north means the pegmatite down-dip (or width) decreases. All it really means is there is no longer a source pegmatite within 30m(ish) of the surface.
On this interpretation, the thin upper pegmatite may be doing the work of creating the anomaly that is shown below pointing NW. The intersections shown for RC09-RC11 are related to the system, but those intercepts are not causing the anomaly that triggered their locations in phase1. The anomaly stops because the pegmatite has gone under the weathering profile.
From the RC09 to RC11 cross section and the yet to be reported TG29 hole, we know the pegmatite is already about 300m of width (or as TG6 describe it down-dip). RC09, RC10 and RC11 were 100m apart.
The nearest NSI drill hole to RC22 is about half a km away to the east (RC016) so at this stage is massively open. How much - no-one knows.
Where does this 10Mt across 200m of plunge length come from?Regarding the width (down-dip) is known to be circa 300m, it could easily have a width of 400m, 500m or even 600m+ as it gets deeper. Phase 3 drilling will help establish that as TG6 drill SW/NE along the PoW lines with RC22 and RCD28 on it. At RC22, there's a combined 26m (4m + 19m + 3m). The slab of main pegmatite and upper thinner pegmatite could average 30m between RC022 and RCD028 if it gets deeper with depth. When RC28 has its DD extension this will become clearer. The upside scenario (but not best case!) is that the pegmatite is 30m average between RC22 and RCD28. It could also be quite wide a this point. If the dimensions were 600m SW-NE "down dip". If you had the 200m slice being 600m * 200m * 30m * 2.7 density that 200m slice would be 9.7Mt.
An interesting future DD extensionUsing down-hole measurements, the main pegmatite is dropping circa 70-80m every 200m. RCD09 was 132.5m. RC22 was 206m. RCD28 could well start around 276-286m so the RC intercept noted in the webinar is just the thin upper pegmatite, not the main one. If the next two 200m PoW extension lines dropped a further 75m each, they would hit main pegmatite at around 350m and 425m down hole (60 degree holes). If there was modest decline to the west, the main pegmatite could be around 450m-500m down-hole at RC23. RC23 hit a 3m peg at 242m and had a depth of 300m. It was not deep enough to confirm whether or not this likely dipping main pegmatite has a seriously wide width. It needs some inbetween successful hits, but if a RC23 DD extension were to hit a big lower pegmatite, its a seriously big system.
