Hmm don’t think they’re gravity , EM and lithium responses from drilling.
Pegmatites are intrusives so need a place to ‘intrude’ such as structural or stratigraphic features that act as a ‘pathway and trap’.
From previous work here at Cancet it’s sills between the stratigraphic units. And they have a EM response here.
A coincident gravity response ‘might’ mean a pegmatite ( as they’re denser). It could be deeper, or along strike of these units. That’s what they’re testing for.
After that a field survey would easily identify outcropping peg. Then samples.
Spodumene can not be identified from any geophysics, only visual and petrographical studies.
Here it would allow quick survey as there’s snow half the year, and lots ground cover. Helps expedite things, cover more ground, save $ with unnecessary drilling, less disturbance etc.
