I'd also like to see drilling as soon as possible, however I also prefer if money was not spent on drill holes that have a reduced chance of achieving their targeted outcome.

The first water issue is the ability to get the drill rig's to the required locations. I'd agree that conditions are likely to have improved. I'd also add to that, TG6 did manage to get the drill rigs to the six holes noted above and infill southern Burmeister is an area with a gentle slope to the east. I would have expected surface conditions to improve fairly quickly.

The second is how quickly this groundwater recharge situation improves. TG6 knows that the below ground conditions were suitable in early October 2023 when they drilled the first six holes of Burmeister. What they don't know is how quickly conditions improve from having abandoned holes to being able to complete the intended holes. While additional groundwater now is a problem, it may well become a blessing if processing plant which requires water is constructed.
