Why are they not sending it elsewhere to be processed why would they just bury it?
You can make Hydroxide with lepidolite through sulphuric acid leaching which is cost effecting, I highly doubt they are just going to bury the lepidolite if it is just sitting there. Would seem like a very non commercial decision
