It's not an estimate, it's a JORC Exploration Target. It's a defined term and there's a certain level of evidence they have to have before they can put one out, but it's nowhere near strong enough to determine a resource.
It is a good sign though.
Not a lot to get overly excited about from my point of view, as they won't go underground mining for some years yet. This is the next step in confirming that it will be economic to do so, but it is the shallower stuff that will get them into production and hopefully profit.
Underground is good for confirming long term potential, but doesn't move the needle a huge amount as far as I'm concerned.
Surprised to see the announcement today, actually. Isn't it a public holiday in Perth?
