A takeover is not necessarily what I want, but I think it's virtually inevitable. Good projects nearly always get taken out by bigger players. The best way to maximize shareholder value is to maximize the resources ASAP so that any suitor is forced to pay full value. That is what Rob and the MGV team is doing. Provided the price is right, I've got no problem with a takeover, it beats having to wait a few years for a payday whilst they develop the mine, dilution to raise mine development capital etc . As I say, the key thing is we need to find as much gold as soon as possible so that any suitor is forced to pay a decent price. What we don't want is a premature takeover when we only have a modest (albeit very high grade) resource and the suitor then waltzes in and finds a lot more high grade on our land (and doesn't have to pay us for it).
