A random anonymous person raises an obscure technical reason why something is not what/as good it seems. Other random people (possibly the same person) back them up, then accuse others of being in on the dastardly situation.

Happily most people are armed with the the helpful faculty of reason.

In this case, what's more likely:

A : A random anonymous person on the internet had found a serious problem with the project, one unknown to most investors, that alarmingly state and federal government partners and the CSIRO have also somehow missed.

Or

B: State and federal government partners and the CSIRO have done their due diligence, and the supposed technical problem is not actually a problem at all.
