The area has been drilled before.. and since then it hasn't been turned into a national park or found bones from some extinct mammal.. so I couldn't see why there would be an issue gaining drilling approvals.. imo.
Every mining company goes through the same process..
Don't know of any off the top of my head that have been refused given similar circumstances..
