I'm by no means a geologist. I honestly could not be further from one.
But why, would any geo or any exploration company for that matter, NOT cherry pick their rock chips.
Who in their right mind, would randomly select a few rocks and say this is what we may have found
Truly bizarre commentary on this forum to suggest, that a geo would not use their knowledge and expertise to try and find potential rock samples that may lead to further findings. If not, why employ geologists all together... you could simply help them to drill and then send off samples to the lab. Obviously I am being sarcastic on the intricacies here, but the point is pretty clear.
