I think what we're seeing here ladies and gents is a culture clash.
The old industry fogies like to get their updates via asx announcements, delivered to them via post, pigeon or by phoning in to their broker at 9.45am.
SUM and other companies taking a different route of informing their shareholders doesn't sit well with Old man Pearce. He doesn't know what all the fuss is about with this internet, twitter book face thing.
If news isn't posted on an ASX letter form, its not real news.
