It is selected by the geologist
and chipped of the rock with a pick....

It is literally explained in it's name !!!!

Any company takes rock chips and / or stream samples,
To test for the presence of the mineral they are looking for.

In the case of it being for gold,
They often send prospectors out with gold detectors,
Who select....
You guessed it Gold to be assayed.

Anyone saying otherwise has simply no idea whatsoever,
And likely never will....

1st clearly has had it explained to them enough times,
And is now aware that it is 100% normal and is the way it is done,
By most, if not all exploration companies.

Perhaps go and read about any other companies initial samples !!!!
