Both J4K and I are in another Brazilian play at the moment and I'll use this as a pretty good example of rock chip selection.
In Sept last year OZM acquired a Lithium tenement that returned 4 spodumene rock chip samples at grades between 6% to 7.2% across 2 metre intervals in an underground adit full of crystals. As you can see below "samples were chipped from the rock face". So in other words, they selected the best part, "the crystals" and low and behold the samples returned some of the highest Lithium rock chips ever recorded.
Share price ran to $32m but there was no scrunity or downramping from anyone online. I wont go into what happened next but thought I would share this as it common practice when gathering rock chips.....everyone does it
