Rock chip samples are in fact indicative of possible grades- but just one piece of the puzzle. What they don't show is precisely how much is in the ground, how spread out it is etc. Whilst the drilling samples will shed the proper light on the matter it is not uncommon for drilling results to confirm what the rock chip assays were indicating. Looking at it from another angle are you saying that if these rock chip samples were poor they should still go ahead and drill?
