No-one ever contemplates a top cut for high outlying assays.
How will they compare recoveries for gravity and CIL of the high grade ore if the parcels are not drawn from a well blended stockpile? Two separate parcels could be significantly different.
I thought the tails sample had already been sent off for CIL testing.
I'm with Groundswell - tell us the vertical height of the panel sample so we can get an idea of the likely dilution. It's not the vein width that's important in this instance but the sample height.
