This new announcement says infill drilling underground will be carried out in Q2-Q3 2024 which is a 6 month deferment in the schedule from the previous presentation. The FID to resume underground mining underground mining is clearly some way off. The economics in the DFS are pretty good if you want to wait and with the current SP, it has a low valuation.
No mention about the resumption of open pit mining in this announcement.
The Misima Project is a wildcard. It needs a better gold price to make it interesting to other parties and hopefully the PNG politicians do not mess things up.
