Sort of a "good bad news" or a "bad good news" announcement that there are decent Pb Zn grades there underground, but unfortunately close to the shear zone so will not be fun to develop to/through or to mine there at Mineral Hill.

This hole and cross section is probably the most encouraging and a good idea of the scale and drill orientation of some of the stuff closest to existing underground development (the blue drill hole trace is the new KSN drill hole).





Just as a "heads up" to people - despite the company talking about CuEq grades this is not really a copper mine, its actually a Lead + Zinc mine with silver and gold credits when you look at the assays from those recent drill holes:





Have had this on my watch list for ages but obviously underground base metal producers/developers a bit of an investor graveyard at the moment with elevated costs, fuel, labour etc and other consumables and the price of base metals not getting high enough to incentivize new supplies or excite investors.

Will make money in a high elevated base metal price environment if they can restart it and execute well so will be keeping an eye on it. Was this another ex-Straits Resources mine that they high-graded and ripped the good bits out of in the past? Just a bit too far away from other existing plants like Hera, Peak & Tritton to be a takeover target, at least the mill is there and all the mining lease and infrastructure is in place.
