Geeze, 1,500 holes for 80,000 metres !! That's a lot of $$. Hope we don't have to do that lol !! Maybe we will and find a bigger reserve, who knows.
Suspect not to that extent right now - we have a much better understanding now of the geological and rock types that are REE bearing thanks to the HAS and previous exploration work (presumably the reasons that we got targets pretty quickly after the initial site works). And it seems deep drilling is required
Yaringba was drilled, and a JORC declared, before HAS got it and they did some more rock sampling and drilling, then extended it. As to the rock samples we have targeted, the following is from an annual report from HAS. Clearly, the ironstone is a target, thus what FNT went for. Note that the report says that mineralisation is open in all directions. Nice.
