OK...nobody has a back of the napkin number? . so did quick google lookups.. Monazite is worth between $1500 - $2000 per tonne....Setting up an open cut mine ... around $20m-$30m ...Ore extraction around $3 per Tonne. No idea how many tonnes of Monazite we have that would fit into the price range above (not a geo) and how the cost profile would be impacted by having to focus on extracting it then crushing and separating..all he reference material I can find is based on extraction from sand deposits. Does anyone have clarity on the economics of the types of ore bodies that DRE is drilling out?
