Ann: High-Grade REE Results From Surface, page-33

The niobium grades are reported with the REEs in Appendix A. I assume they are not mentioned in the text as there is nothing to get excited about. Nb is running about 30ppm - elevated but not really that interesting.

The REE intercepts are quite thick and consistent but grade is low to average at best. The grade is comparable to other low grade REE clay deposits in WA but in this case the mineralisation is reported as monazite hosted within a biotite granite. To me this indicates there has been no development of an ionic clay profile. The REEs appear to remain in the primary minerals (monazite) and there has been low to no weathering of the REE bearing minerals and adsorbtion of the liberated REEs onto the clay surface. Furthermore, I do not see any negative cerium anomaly within the results. In ionic deposits there is usually cerium loss - this is a good first pass indicator of whether the deposit is easily leachable. For an REE project at this grade to be potentially economic it needs to be big, easily leachable and close to infrastructure. This might tick one of those boxes.
