The article said the only people that made money was the directors and corrupt politicians- the poor old share holder got screwed in most cases.
I had not considered the distance from the port and market for the bulk of the ore- so transport costs are a massive consideration (how much that is seems to be fairly hard to calculate from the above).
Also anyone know why the previous owners pulled out?
