Well Boddington is only roughly 170kms away and they have 4 hungry mills. The way you say isolation confuses me, have you been down that way? definitely not as isolated as such mines in the gold fields or Pilbara. The site itself is only 40kms from a town with a population of 4200. bitumen roads, shops, facilities and like you mentioned it's in the wheat belt which means plenty of haulage solutions.
Just my thoughts, I feel it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to build a plant here than out in the middle of no where, all your plant equipment would need to come from Perth and do sometimes 1000km with potentially gravel/dirt tracks. Where as here they come from Perth 300kms and they arrive easy as that.
